While our Children and Teenagers are participating in the programs designed for them on Wednesday evenings the adults have the opportunity to take their Biblical knowledge to another level. We offer Life House University as a tool to educate our community in Biblical knowledge and the practical expression of that knowledge. Classes are offered on a rotating basis and will cover a myriad of topics from; Basic Bible Study Techniques to Marriage and Family. The goal is to raise the level of Biblical literacy and create a community of people possessing a Biblical world view.

"HAVING A MARY HEART IN A MARTHA WORLD"
by
Joanna Weaver
Like Mary, do you long to sit at the Lord's feet, but the daily demands of a busy world just won't leave you alone...
Like Martha, you love Jesus and really want to serve Him...yet you struggle with weariness, resentment, and feelings of inadequacy?
How can you make that choice?
This study is "an invitation for every woman who feels she isn't godly enough...isn't loving enough...isn't doing enough."

Swaziland is a small country, about the size of the state of New Jersey. There is a population of around 920,000 people. The figure from 2000 was 1,000,000 however the HIV-AIDS pandemic is taking the lives of thousands of Swazis'. Swaziland leads the world in the rate of infection with HIV-AIDS. Recent figures published in Swaziland showed 46% of the population is HIV+. Officially the rate of infection is 43.7%. The implications of this are tremendous and far reaching. Already over 50% of the primary age school children are orphans and have no way to attend school. Many of these orphans are forced to live with relatives who treat them as slaves and do not allow them the privileges granted their own children. There are 17% of the households in the country that are child led homes, with the average age of the child leading the home at 13 years. All of this paints a very bleak future for the nation with the BBC projecting that Swaziland will become the first country in modern times to become extinct by the year 2030.

Nitro Kids Mission:
To equip children to experience God in a fun learning environment so that through application of God’s word, their lives will be transformed into His likeness and God’s kingdom will be multiplied.
It is our joy to be able to pick up kids from our community and bring them to church.
We run the bus on Sundays for the 11:00 service only and on Wednesday evenings.
If you would be interested in helping us out by picking up and dropping off kids either on Sunday or Wednesdays, please just let us know.
Every Summer, Life Fellowship participates in a week-long summer program providing lunch and activities to those families living around the Boyd Elementary School area.
Volunteers are needed to provide food items, assist in preparing lunch, plan fun activities, and help with set-up and tear-down.

Hospitality
Prepare coffee, water, lemonade, and donuts for each service.
Also includes clean up after the 2nd service. Volunteers are needed for either the 9:30 or 11:00 service. Those volunteering for the 9:30 service help with preparation and those volunteering for the 11:00 service set out fresh donuts and help with clean up after the end of the service.
Ushers
Help provide a welcoming environment to our church families, including those who may be new. Assist with seating, directing to kids area or other locations, collect Sunday morning tithe and offering.
Greeters
Greeting is an integral part of Life Fellowship. Greeters provide direction to the kids' area or other locations, making sure each family has a bulletin and is welcomed. As our church family and visitors enter Life Fellowship, there is nothing better than seeing a smiling face and a welcoming handshake.
Security
Providing a safe and secure environment for our Life Fellowship families is our heart. From making sure your cars are safe (no lights left on) to making sure our facilities and grounds are safe, your family’s safety is important to us.
A guiding part of the culture at Life Fellowship is our desire to reach out both locally and internationally.
In reaching out, we desire to take the loving hand of God outside of the four walls of our facility. We are looking for a team of people who will serve our church by helping coordinate and organize these efforts. This team will be responsible for: organizing and promoting our container project to Swaziland, helping organize our mission’s trips, maintaining communication and representing our missionaries to the local church body. Some event coordination will also be involved. These events include, but are not limited to; golf tournament, International Banquet, Plano Balloon Festival fund raiser.
This is a one year commitment. The team will generally meet monthly, but may require additional meetings as events near.

VISION OF TRIP:
To assist approximately 100 person core group of nationals and missionaries in the planting of a “prevailing church” which will be a ministry center, a food distribution center, a day school, an orphan care center, and a church-planting center. This will be accomplished through a system of teams from various churches visiting over a three week period participating in such ministries as: construction, children’s ministry, teacher training, door to door evangelism, and crusade ministry.

We know fellowship was a significant part of the New Testament church. Fellowship is key to our identity here at Life Fellowship. Through the years we have hosted many great parties and events. Our annual carnivals are a perfect example of this, not to mention the cookouts, skate parties, even the Disco's.
Every fifth Sunday we provide a wonderful gathering that is fun for the whole family. If you enjoy organizing or hosting parties this is the ministry for you. Are you creative or do you have the gift of hospitality? This group will be on ongoing ministry that will move from project to project as events come along on our calendar.
